Bridge Studios is once again proud and appreciative of the support by the BC Film and Television Industry for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

The REEL Thanks 2022 fundraising page officially closed at 12:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2022. This year, the BC Film and Television Industry raised a record-breaking $305,544 in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
The addition of this year’s total brings the REEL Thanks 10-year campaign total to $1,791,219!
On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, representatives from the BC Film Unions and Greater Vancouver Food Bank presented this year’s Top 5 FUNdraising teams with awards and gratitude for their incredible work.

Team Spiderwick won six REEL Thanks sponsor challenges during the two-week competition. They were the first team to donate this year–although the competition was closer than it’s ever been before!–and won the Daily Sponsor Challenge on Days 1, 4, 5, 7 and 9.
We want to thank The Spiderwick Chronicles for their incredible fundraising efforts this year. In addition to setting a new record, Team Spiderwick’s donations made up 1/3 of our fundraising goal for 2022. Fantastic work, team!

We’d like to thank Team #FireCountryCBS for bringing the heat with their generous fundraising efforts this year. Particularly on Day 6 of the competition when they won the Daily Sponsor Challenge. Well done!

Team DrewCrew won two Reel Thanks 2022 sponsor challenges during the two-week competition. Drew Crew Writers, with help from the Drewds, won the Best Social Media Challenge for Nancy Drew on Twitter. They were also our Daily Sponsor Challenge winner for Day 2.

Unfortunately, Team Superman & Lois was in a meeting when the REEL Thanks party arrived so we weren’t able to get any pictures of them with their award. Nevertheless, we want to thank them for their generous fundraising efforts this year. They did a super job!
